Discover some of the many different adaptations that organisms use to survive. Steve Jenkins' amusing book "What Do You Do When Something Wants to Eat You?"  provides examples of common and unusual ways that animals defend themselves from predators and serves as a spring board for discussion and example of other common animal adaptations we my notice in our own lives. Each child will use their imaginations to design and create their own animal with unique adaptations.
